Situated 7 minutes drive from the bustling scenic West Cork town of Clonakilty and 10-15 minutes drive from many superb dog friendly beaches such as the Blue flag beach of Inchydoney and Rosscarbery.
Bridies Cottage offers tourists the best of both worlds in this peaceful setting, as a taxi/people carrier into Clonakilty will cost you approximately 12/15 euros each way. There is an array of pubs like DeBarras, Scannells, and an excellent choice of restaurants and cafes on offer in this picturesque town.
Bridies Cottage was built over 120 years ago and it has been modernized in recent years but it still contains its old world charm. The cottage has two main bedrooms upstairs, one double and one twin, with the option of a third room to accommodate a camp bed. Downstairs there is a lovely kitchen and cosy sitting room with a wood burning stove. There is also the main bathroom which consists of an electric shower and bath.
At the back of the cottage there is a lovely secluded garden with timber decking and a barbecue area. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with plenty of amenities close by, look no further than “Bridies Cottage”.
