The last week or so has seen the Pedigree Dogs web site hit the Thousands.
On the 27th September the site received it’s One Hundred Thousandth Visitor for the year and yesterday the Pedigree Dogs Facebook page notched up it’s One Thousandth Like.
Now of course we’d love to say that we have made One Hundred Thousand Euro’s since we launched the site, but to be honest, that’s not why we set the site up in the first place.
Our aim at Pedigree Dogs is to provide people interested in owning a pedigree dog the platform and opportunity to contact people in their interested breed/s, with the possible outcome of eventually becoming a life long owner, and when you get text messages like the following, it proves that the site is working, and we wouldn’t swap it for a night in the playboy mansion
“Spoke with …… and she is due a litter next week, and based on further checks will hold one for us. We’re very grateful for your help, thank you sooo much. We’re so happy”
This all came about when the said person came across our site via Google, but didn’t find the breed she was interested in. The reason the family were looking for a dog is that their elderly dog of the same breed had just passed, and they didn’t want to introduce a new puppy to the household when the elderly dog in question was still with them. After dealing with the family grief, after the older dog died, they decided to start on the track of looking for a new puppy of the same breed to join the house, and came across us here at Pedigree Dogs.
We were only to happy to point them in the right direction of a person that breeds occasionally, and carries out all the breed specific health tests in their particular breed.
It’s what we do here, and when it works out like the above, poor Hef doesn’t know what he is missing out on !
