Unfortunately in the last few months in Ireland many Veterinary Surgeons have reported a high increase in Lungworm disease.
Owners should be aware of this and make sure their dogs do not
eat slugs, snails or frogs either on purpose or by accident. Also owners are warned if they do feed their dogs out of doors, do make sure to wash the dogs dishes well and remove any snail that my have got into them. Also check toys, that are left outside they too could be harbouring slugs or snails.
