Lacsar is a small but successful show kennel owned by the mother and daughter partnership of Mairin
Jackson & Emer Wright. Based in South Eastern Ireland, we have had dogs all our lives and, between us, we have a keen interest in breeding, showing, handling, judging and stewarding at top level.
We have competed regularly at Championship Shows in Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe since 2012. Since then, our dogs have amassed well over 700 Green Stars between them, along with countless other top awards at shows both at home and abroad, including Crufts.
We are passionate about preserving and protecting the future of this ancient breed. All of our dogs are health tested for genetic conditions which can affect the breed before we consider breeding from them.
No expense is spared, from rearing our puppies using only the best quality products, to importing dogs of new bloodlines from all over the globe in order to enhance our breeding programme, everything that we do is done to the highest standard.
We are proud to be members of The Irish Kennel Club (IKC), Nihonken Hozonkai (Japan), The Japanese Shiba Inu Club of Great Britain (UK) and the Federation Cynoloqique International (FCI).
