As the Munster Circuit is speeding towards us again, with online entries for the 4 big shows closing by the end of next week, it might be a good time to remind exhibitors about the risks involved in leaving dogs in cars.
We all agree that this is a totally unacceptable practice, but yet at every show we attend over the summer months, we hear a message over the PA system about dogs in distress in locked up cars.
Maybe show committee’s should enforce the guidelines that The Kennel Club (London) make available through their very informative web site Guidelines
They are called dog shows for a very good reason, and we should make sure that dogs are always our number one priority when attending same to ensure an enjoyable day is had by us and more importantly our four legged friends.
