Showing Dogs in Ireland – You would have to be mad !

I’m not sure what the above says about us Dog Show people, that travel the length and breadth of this country most week ends of the year, giving up most of the major bank holidays to sit in a green field or car park, in a tent if you are lucky, if not, just on a camping chair, competing against the same people’s dogs under breed specialists, group specialist’s, all rounders, first time judges, acquaintances and sometimes friends all in the hope of coming home with a rosette !
Anyway, I’m still looking forward to Kilkenny & District Canine Club & Déise Canine Club’s back to back shows this Saturday & Sunday
Let’s hope the weather forecasters have it right, and we actually get to use our sun cream.
