A QUITE remarkable feat in show terms has been achieved by a new exhibitor.
Charlotte Whittaker’s Alaskan Malamute Chayo Vanquish (Cruz), has won the group with each of his first three CCs – at the National, Bournemouth and Welsh Kennel Club – becoming a champion in the process.
This in itself is a rare occurrence, but in addition to that he is Miss Whittaker’s first show dog.
Cruz, who has just turned two years old, is by Int/Dutch/Lux/Am/Bel Ch Snoquest Limited Edition (Diesel) ex Sue Ellis’ Ch/Int Ch Chayo Forget-Me-Not (Topaz), the bitch record holder with seven CCs. Topaz won the BCC at WKC this year and the group last year, and also produced both RCC winners there in 2010.
