All you need is love

When John Lennon penned the lyrics to the above song, I can’t say for sure that he had dogs or Dachshund puppies on his mind, but you just don’t know.

Today after nearly 3 years, another chapter in our doggie lives, that started on the 03rd August 2008 came to a sort of end

The 3rd August 2008 was the day that 3 pups were born into our household, one of them being Danno AKA Dessaur Hawaii Five 0

It was also the first time that Anne from New Zealand, now living in Ireland, contacted me in relation to using one of our dogs at stud with her Ruby.

Following on from that, on the 10th March 2011 Danno and Ruby had a romantic interlude, and on the 09th May 2011 four pups were born into Anne’s homestead

We visited this fantastic household today and witnessed first hand the enormous amount of joy that these little pups have brought into the lives of all they have come into contact with.

At the end of the day, we can all talk about what we think is wrong or what we think is right in the world of dogs, and about subjects like pedigree dogs versus cross breed dogs, genetics this and vaccinations that, but the fact is, if you truly love your dog, you will do all that is in your power to provide 100% for his or her needs no matter what !
